Getting older, getting wiser also.
The chat with kids when they tend not to listen,
The constant reminders in the morning,
The patience that keeps on extending until the kids understand,
The whines and explanations they make,
The cries over the promise not kept,
The silent protest when is is a "no",
The response that gives a blow to "pride",
At the end of the day, a CHANGE in me has to make, to better understand them!

Countless Joy
Seeing the kids grow in the values that we are trying to imbed in them:
With their little fights and then say "I'm sorry" later...
Doing it again and still say sorry and promise not to do it again...
Hiding when they know that their Dada is already home...
Finding joy in the thrill as their Dada look for them...
The hugs and kisses as they say "thank you" for the new things we buy...
The smiles as we say "Good morning!"...
The "May I help you?" as we do the household chores...
Preparing the food, getting our shoes off and putting the dirty clothes in the laundry...
The quiet time at night before bedtime...
The excitement when they hear Bible stories...
And the many questions like "why?"...
These are indeed countless joy to start the day with a smile :-)

Listen to Understand
The morning starts with chores to do, we care less of the little voices that prompt us to stay steady and breathe. We are caught up with many responsibilities that we ourselves put into our hand. We often forget that there are people around wanting more of our presence than our service. We keep things in order that even a little noise becomes a blow that eventually disrupts the day. Why not ponder for a moment? Why not take heart and try to listen? Why not see things beyond and find beauty in it? Have ears to listen and a heart that understands. It's going to be a great day then!

Joy in Everyday! :-)
A Year just Home
It's a big adjustment
I may find it boring
Yet, its going to be rewarding
As I serve
Seeing every change the kids going through
Preparing every morning the necessities
Making sure all dues are met and done
Planning the day, making it worthwhile
Looking ahead on what the day may bring
This is my ministry, my joy, my service to YOU!!!
Help me to carry on my duties
With joy and sincerity
Never to grudge on the regrets
But always rejoicing on the uncertainties
Thank you!

In HIS Time
(Ocotber 30-31, 2008)
Thursday...so much expectations for the day.
but, worries flooded my brain
wrong decisions accused me
pessimism kept bogging me
still, hopeful of what the day would bring.
Friday...so excited on what the day has enstored.
but, uncertainties created a cloud of mystery
idleness darken the hope
passivism resulted to fear
still, on the verge of it all, He was in full control!
In His time, He makes all things beautiful.
He still proves that He never leaves nor forsakes His child.
Miracle is on its way in a very unexpected moment.
Even at the last breath of hope, He is the "Great I Am".

A Year Old
Jabez is a name from the Bible character who cries "bless me and enlarge my territory..." The name itself suggests for God's unlimited favor and which is to be shared with others.
It is not an accident when at October 21, 2006, Jabez, fondly called "Abe" came into this world and put smile in our faces. It was at 5 am in the morning when she woke us up all to embrace her and welcome her to this world. She's been a lovely and a sweet baby. She oftens cry; she always craves for hugs; and, she tends to caress us everytime we are near. We are so blessed to have her and always grateful for what she is becoming now.
Seeing her now makes us remember how she started to smile at the sight of our face, roll when she is needing milk, crawl to reach her favorite toy, stand when she personifates her Ate Jewel, walk as she tries to get some exercise. How quick days passed; but, everyday with her is a message on what is carved in her name, Jabez- blessing. Indeed, she is a blessing and now on her first birthday, we fully believed that "goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of ourlives" with Jabez or "Abe".
