5:30 am... I was in a deep sleep then my hubby's phone rung. I patted him to turn off the phone but he was so in a tight sleep. So, I got up and pulled out the phone in one of the pockets of his pants. It was an alarm and I did not bother to turn it off because there was a reminder in it. I woke him up but since he was not willing to wake up, I read the message and was surprised to see the note: "Happy Birthday my Dear"...don't get back to sleep...more rings to come. To my surprise, i hugged him tight. Still, i have to find the other phone to see more surprises. I reached the cabinet and opened it, there laid the phone with a card and chocolates. I was so so surprised again and hurriedly gave him big hugs and kisses. I opened the card and read the message: I am so blessed having you as my bestfriend, lover and wife. I love you so much!mmwaahhh. But what really struck me was when he said, "I give you chocolates because you are sweet but you are sweeter than those chocolates". I never imagined that he would be that thoughtful and sweet. It was a simple and pretend-to-be-sleepy surprise but it really made me cry. The morning was full of Thank you's and I love you's. What a sweeter birthday to be remembered!!!
