Getting older, getting wiser also.
The chat with kids when they tend not to listen,
The constant reminders in the morning,
The patience that keeps on extending until the kids understand,
The whines and explanations they make,
The cries over the promise not kept,
The silent protest when is is a "no",
The response that gives a blow to "pride",
At the end of the day, a CHANGE in me has to make, to better understand them!

Countless Joy
Seeing the kids grow in the values that we are trying to imbed in them:
With their little fights and then say "I'm sorry" later...
Doing it again and still say sorry and promise not to do it again...
Hiding when they know that their Dada is already home...
Finding joy in the thrill as their Dada look for them...
The hugs and kisses as they say "thank you" for the new things we buy...
The smiles as we say "Good morning!"...
The "May I help you?" as we do the household chores...
Preparing the food, getting our shoes off and putting the dirty clothes in the laundry...
The quiet time at night before bedtime...
The excitement when they hear Bible stories...
And the many questions like "why?"...
These are indeed countless joy to start the day with a smile :-)

Listen to Understand
The morning starts with chores to do, we care less of the little voices that prompt us to stay steady and breathe. We are caught up with many responsibilities that we ourselves put into our hand. We often forget that there are people around wanting more of our presence than our service. We keep things in order that even a little noise becomes a blow that eventually disrupts the day. Why not ponder for a moment? Why not take heart and try to listen? Why not see things beyond and find beauty in it? Have ears to listen and a heart that understands. It's going to be a great day then!
